Hello, I started keto about 2.5 months ago and I’ve lost about 30 pounds. And after losing about 10 pounds of I believe water weight the first week I’ve been losing a stable 2 pounds a week until now. This week though, i kinda stayed the same weight. I’m not sure if this is a stall? Maybe it’s too short a time period but I’m worried because this is the first time that I stay the same in all the time ive been doing keto. Idk. Any advice?
Stalling?
Where are you relative to your goal weight and are you in a pretty strict routine? If your close to your goal that’s going to happen. If you’re in a strict routine, mix it up. Our bodies adapt to routine very well. Curveballs may help to reset that thermostat lower.
I started off at 213, and right now I’m at 183. My first goal was to hit 180, so I guess I am close to my goal. And I’m not on a very strict routine. I know I haven’t gone over my carb limit, and I excersize pretty regularly
I started at 235 and am at 188 with a 185 goal weight. I will say the weight comes off in ounces maybe a pound a month at this point. It’s slow but it’s happening. It too 47 years to get to where I was I figure patience and persistence is key at this point. We are having a very similar journey.
Yeah I figured eventually the weight loss would slow down. Thank you for replying to my post
