So much facepalm

So sad this is a thing.

This reminds me of a friend that takes Metformin and continues to eat all her favorite shit. It’s frustrating as hell to watch this knowing what I know now. And it seems that every time I mention that diabetes can be reversed with diet alone, it falls on deaf ears. :rage:

My boyfriend’s father actually takes extra insulin so he can have his dessert after dinner. It boggles my mind. I have brought up low carb and he just says his sugar gets too low if he does that. :frowning:

Great post title. It was frustrating to read. Arrrgggh!! So much knowledge today, yet so much ignorance!

That site is continentist, but I think the snippet in your post says it all.

I just get very angry when I see articles like this one, and also the tv commercials for all the big pharma meds.

I’ve known several people that died from complications of diabetes and it is so damn frustrating that the medical world just keeps their fingers in their ears and won’t listen.

Probably a gdpr issue

Hummmmm so this is a Big Pharma ad for insulin, I take it.

Yeah, I don’t follow that logic …
A) Can increase insulin to counter high sugar
B) Can not decrease insulin to counter low sugar

Yep.

At the bottom of the “article”.

A visit to the Virta Health website is in order after that!
