That’s great! It’s these kinds of things that can help pep us up if we’re flagging, but also just make your day like it did.
A good decade ago when I lost 55 lbs after my initial T2DM diagnosis (since gained back following traditional guidelines), we frequented a Chinese place that I stopped going to for 6 months. When I finally thought it might be OK to eat Chinese food again, we went back, and all the employees’ mouths dropped open when they saw me, as a group. They all look towards the door when it opens so they can greet people. Definitely made my day that day. Actually made my whole month and as you can see, I still remember it a decade later.
You should go out to places you haven’t been in a while whenever you need a boost.
I just rented a car…desk person almost wouldn’t accept my drivers license. Guess it’s time to get a new photo - losing 75# does change your looks a bit!
