Slooow going (six weeks on keto)
You give me hope! Thank you! I’m 10 weeks in and no weight loss at all (I dropped 2 pounds two weeks ago and gained them back the next week). When did you begin to loose weight? Do you still have a drink now and then?

Thank you, Ann! @74Ann How are you feeling 10 weeks in? Please don’t be discouraged… To answer your questions: I didn’t really weigh because it doesn’t work well for me. Stepping on the scale each day makes me judge my worth. I did, however, find a cardiologist and nurse nearby who are proponents of this lifestyle. It’s helpful to have a medical practitioner on your side. I definitely drink–club soda & vodka and red wine–but that’s probably part of the reason I don’t lose weight faster. Once you feel good with minimal carbs, you’ll want to keep feeling that way. Rooting for you!
Hi @Joanna11, thank you for your answer ! Ten weeks in I’m good, I feel a bit weak in the muscles sometimes, but I think the slow rythm of the winter is in part responsible for that. So are the antihistamine meds I take for hives (that’s why I do Keto and it is slightly better, I have to take 1 every 4 days instead of every 2 days, so that’s a light NSV ). I’m not sure I’m fully adapted yet, but always peeing ketones. I’m in Belgium and it really is hard to find professionnals that are aware of Keto here… I put my mother on Keto too for her psoriasis and she already lost 10 pounds, so that gives me courage. I drink sparkling wine maybe one or two times a week. I just hope at least some weightloss will kick in at some point. Happy New Year
