Last night I slipped and ate dark chocolate covered almonds. Itโs the greatest time of the month for me and have just been off all week. Feeling crappy and defeated
Slip ๐
KCKO, love. Not a big deal. I have a โslipโ every week except multiply your โslipโ by about 30x. Itโs planned and intentional, but it just goes to show that itโs not the end of the world
A very small slip in my opinion. The fact that you noticed and you care is what matters. KCKO.
Itโs just going to make you more adaptable. Nobody is perfect. Your body is learning. They say going into ketosis is easier the more times and longer you do it. Plus chocolate almonds caused a slip for me too and it didnโt take too long to get the ketones again.
Thank you. Itโs hard when I slip ( only second time in 8 weeks) because Iโve been doing so well. Just this week being female has really taken its toll on me.
That just sounds like a Tuesday to me. Dark chocolate covered almonds (you should make your own) are a great occasional treat.
Definitely could have been worse ! I had a cupcake about a week or so ago. Didnโt kick me out but I had a horrible headache for 2 days . We all get tempted and we all fall for it at least once , no biggie
If you are going to have a slip, dark chocolate almonds are probably one of the best choices for keto. So KCKO
Now, honey-roasted almonds, on the other hand . . .
This being a slip bodes real well for your keto journey, but regardless, i know itโs not about the content of the slip, but about the psychology behind the symbolic foods we deem off-limits. i hate that feeling of losing control. every day i need to remind myself to check in through the day and try to identify sources of stress, remind myself to breath, that iโm safe, healthy and healing and when my thoughts get squirrelly, hop on the forums, write things down, go for a walk or read a good book.
