Been a while i did not come for advice. I started Keto in August i am down 29lbs lost has been slow but i am good. I have been stalled for 2 months now. I have 11lbs to go. My question is i have been hearing people sleep better on keto? I do not. I do IF 18/6 and several days a wek 1/24. I do not have this deep sleep. In fact this past week i had really weird dreams. I don’t usually dream really… any ideas why i am not able to get that deep sleep and why the weird dreams? Last night i saw ever hour on the clock:(… tks.
Sleeping deprived
Hi there. I don’t fast but I see that folks who do mention insomnia. Does it correlate with your one meal a day? Also the timing of your meal might help you sleep better ie, closer to bedtime vs mid day.
Are you taking any supplements? Magnesium Citrate has helped me to get better sleep. Others may have other suggestions.
I used to rarely dream or at least not remember them after waking up but now I’m dreaming quite a bit and in vivid detail, several times per week. I’m sure it has something to do with ketones fueling our brain since I’ve read several others have had similar results.
Some tips for improving sleep:
I will add the possibility of a weight blanket improving your sleep. I don’t use them but I’ve heard others say that it has helped them.
