Seeds and nuts nutritional declaration (confused)

I am confused with the nutritional declaration of some seeds and nuts; they differ substantially from producer to producer. I even came across a bag of 100 gr of almonds on wich the nutritional declaration was stating 76 gr of glucose… Can seeds and nuts vary so wildly depending on their origin or preparation ?

Some packaging will give total as opposed to net carbs. The 76gm glucose per 100gm almonds you spotted must have been sweetened though - 76gm is very high.

By total carbs means that they include fiber ?
I don’t know… I would like as detailed a breakdown nutritional value as possible. For example in milk it usually states:
4,8 gr of carb of witch 4,8 sugars/glucose… I would have preferred if they told me if the sugars are lactose or added sugar.

Total carbs does include fibre.

I’d also like better nutritional info but it’s a matter for your government &/or the government of the country of origin :slightly_smiling_face:

They absolutely can vary significantly depending on preparation. For example, honey-roasted vs dry roasted.

But, even so, there does seem to be a lot of variation where there shouldn’t be.
