Hey it’s my second week in keto. I’m using the stupid simple keto app. I wasn’t home today and I messed up. I thought Cole slaw would be safe so I got it for lunch to find out it has a lot of carbs. I’ve been staying at about 20 grams a day. I don’t have ketostix or anything. I lost 11lbs last week. My question is I’m pretty sure today is going to knock me out of ketosis. If so how bad did this impede my progress. I have to eat the rest of today so I know I’m going to eat more. Maybe I can just get a rotisserie chicken.

But really, let’s say it messed you up badly. Would you treat the rest of today or the week any differently?
The best thing to do after a mistake like this is to just dust yourself off, say, “It happens,” make a mental note, and get on as though you haven’t done anything. Keep Calm and Keto On.
