Scary.... Like for realzies

Husband grabbed a drink for our son…

I’m shocked… Even a soda isn’t THIS bad.

as wonderful of a job as my parents did raising me, one thing i wish they had done differently is monitored my diet a little bit better when i was a young kid and didn’t know how to differentiate between healthy and unhealthy foods myself. it’s unbelievable how unhealthy so many drinks that we view as “normal” or “standard” are

One of the few good things about the way my childhood was is that I was given water to drink, and just water. So now as an adult, I’m happy drinking just water.

(Danielle) #4

I did give him some… But I mixed it with seltzer water. So he had a fizzy orange soda instead. Even a full strength Pepsi or Coke has like 40grams carbs. I was SCHOCKED.

Yeah, I was given milk and water. But now I consider milk to be baby food. :baby:

There is a reason vintage juice glasses are tiny!

jealous. although i turned out pretty much the same! all i drink these days are water and black coffee, and i’m quite content with it :upside_down_face:

Sunny D?

(less is more, more or less) #9

No worries, everyone. It has 3% ORANGE JUICE.

It’s amazing that we as a nation aren’t in even worse shape, reading the “ingredients” of that toxic cocktail.

Minute Maid Orangeade

LOL, I was going to make the same point. And they are so proud of having THAT MUCH that it’s advertised as a feature, not a bug!

#12

Scream worthy.

And ‘pure filtered water’! No doubt they charge a bomb for what is probably <5c worth of ingredients.

Your parents deserve all the hugs in the world.

(Allie) #18

Not really, one I’ve never met and the other resented spending any money on me so tap water it was :joy:
