Sami’s bakery in Florida

bread

#1

Searching on here, people have mentioned it, but I recently found Sami’s low carb bread at my local health food store. They’re out of Tampa. I got some but I wonder if it’s nutrition facts are true: 10g carbs with 8g fiber… 2g Net carbs per slice: https://www.samisbakery.com/product/low-carb-7-grain-fiber/

I’ve purchased fox hill kitchen’s bread, but the texture of Sami’s is much more like actual bread, plus it doesn’t need to be in the freezer. Looking at the ingredients…it’s hard to believe it’s only 2g net carb, lol.

If someone in Florida could do a ketone before and after test of it, that would be great!

(Full Metal KETO AF) #2

There’s a lot in there I wouldn’t want to eat personally. Grains are eliminated on KETO for other reasons besides their carb content, like digestive track inflammation and their anti nutrient content.

And I agree with you that it’s hard to believe the carb count considering the ingredients. Like really unbelievable…that being said I’m not going to tell you that this food isn’t “KETO”. But stuff like this isn’t part of my KETO eating. If weight loss is your only concern it might be okay. If you start stalling on weight loss it’s the first thing I would drop. :cowboy_hat_face:
