Regroup, refocus and restart

I’ve gotten some great results AND I’m still getting them but looking at my history of eating for dinner the last 2-3 weeks has shown me that I am off track… badly.

A cheat meal every week or two isn’t bad but when 1 day in 3 is completely out of whack, it’s time to regroup.

So you’ll be seeing me more often as I try to get back to basics… and stay there.

I hear ya. Every time I go “out”, someone is pushing food, with the “one time won’t hurt you” line. But the trouble is, my “one time” would turn out to be bout 4 times a week! Going off the diet just isn’'t a strategy that works for me. Maybe Thanksgiving. Still mulling that one over lol

I am in a similar situation. I just got back from a trip which was very physically and mentally demanding. Carbs and protein crept up, fat crept down. Now I am back home and putting in place good routines inside and outside of food and trust within a few short days of mild mouth-pleasure sacrifice, I’ll be humming along once again.

Well to start, yesterday was on target. IF until 4pm-ish today, so I can win today as well with a bit of discipline.

I’m in Canada, where Christmas is the big one (Thanksgiving is relatively low key). Plus all the dinners, parties, etc., leading up to Christmas. I really can’t stand it. At the beginning of December I start telling everyone, “No thanks–I’ll see you in January!”

No idea what the scales say (I’m guessing around 75kg) but down another pants size… that’s down 4 sizes since Jan.
