Does anyone have a great recipe organization system? I have PDFs, saved stuff on Facebook, screenshots on my phone, cookbooks on my Kindle, etc. I have started buying cookbooks in hard copy because I find them easier to flip through (and remember that I have) than Kindle. But the other electronic stuff is a mess.

I have no one system but I do keep a running tab of “do over” recipes and where to find them!

I use Evernote. Folders for recipes to try and those that have been successful. I add tags for “slow cooker” “instant pot” “side items” etc.

I also use Google Keep for my shopping list and my menu plan for the week.

Recipes I’m ready to try, I usually print out, so I have them on hand in the kitchen. If they are a winner, they (usually) get filed, though we’re probably going to have to have a separate file for the keto recipes, since my wife’s recipe file is already huge.

For recipes on the forum that I want to try eventually, I’ll bookmark the post (click or tap the … icon next to the reply button, and it’ll show the bookmark button. Then I can look them all up using the Bookmarks button on my profile.

Sounds like a good system. I use OneNote for shopping lists, but I should see if I can snip recipes to OneNote, rather than printing them. Worth a try.

Evernote! Why don’t I ever remember Evernote? Well now I have a project for the evening.

lol  that’s punny.

I’ve been using Google Drive. I can copy just the pertinent parts from the original website and paste those into a document. I can then open the recipes folder on my phone to work from while I’m in the kitchen.

I don’t have much of a system but I copy and paste into a .doc file in my apache file. Pretty archaic but it works and I have different files for casseroles, deserts, appetizers etc.

I use praprika it’s a great app and easy to add recipes to from websites or manually.
