I ordered these salt-free fish tins on Amazon. They’re extremely good quality. I ordered the Mackerel and the Sardines. I don’t even like fish, but wow, the quality. Here I’m about to put it into a blender with some hot water to make a kind of warm fish gravy.

Really looks good for canned fish!

Y’all figured me out right? This is for my elderly cat who is 88 in human years

I wondered why they were salt free.

My cranky old lady cat is 15. She can still jump from the floor to the dining room table in one, smooth leap and only weights about 8 lbs. Never got fat. Up until a few months ago she was still hunting and leaving me “presents” at my back door.

She goes in and out all day long now that it is warm. She hardly goes outside during the winter and I keep a heated cat bed in the basement during the cold months, which is where all 3 cats and the moose-dog sleep at night. Moose-dog is 100 lbs and loves her kittens.

My oldest cat is… IDK how many years old now, 9? More? My SO knows these numbers. She is still a playful kitten sometimes. It seems whenever we get a young cat, it rubs on her
Her name is Cloud, among others. Well it was her winter name when she fluffed up but I don’t even know her normal name… Oh Carolina Aida! Yep, that. But Cloud is simpler. Like Pie for CuddlePie (who isn’t cuddly anymore). At least Ginger’s name is simple like her (it’s not an insult, she is just a honest, predictable one).

To be slightly ontopic, the cats here like fish. Mom’s old cats often didn’t. Well there is a pond here with lots of fishing competition and there is a man in the street who loves fishing and cats alike…
