Random Urge to Run... One mile without stopping!

Got home after work today, decided I was going to try and fast until dinner since lately I haven’t been very hungry at lunch.

My dog has had a lot of energy lately so I decided to take her on a run. We got a mile (without stopping, been a while since I’ve been able to do that!) and she decided she was over it! I ended up having to carry her over my shoulder the mile back home (all 40lbs of her)… quite the little workout I ended up having and I feel AWESOME!

“Life is like a box of 90% cocoa bars.” doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.

When I run, I start slow then taper off. Cheers!

I walk further and faster than if I run.

I started couch to 5k a few years ago when I believed that I needed to exercise to bring my weight down. Looking at my average speed I found I could walk at a consistently high average speed for the whole period, than running or jogging, because it tires me out quicker and I had to walk slower to recover which brought my average speed right down.

As for the couch to 5k, I get stuck at week 6, got a persistent cough so stopped exercising and so put weight on because I was eating more because I was hungrier. Went Keto(ish) and lost 9Kg without doing ANY additional exercise.
