Question about weight loss!

My boyfriend and I have officially been KETO for a month. We’ve lost an insanely large amount of weight, I still can’t believe it (I’m actually already at the point that I need to just maintain, and have no idea how to do so!!!).

We have been trying to find information on how much weight comes off after the first month. Should my boyfriend expect to keep losing 20+lb every month, or will it drastically slow down after the first month??

And, of course I need to know what to do to just maintain my weight. (I’m now 17lb lighter than before, weighing in at 143lb, 5’7" tall :astonished:) I need to stop!!! Lol

The short answer is that your bodies are going to do what they want. If you’re happy where you are, great! Eating more food will help you stay there. As for your boyfriend, most people experience plateaus in weight loss that can be disheartening. But just because you stop losing doesn’t mean your body isn’t changing. I stopped for around six months, but lost two pants sizes in that time. Keep calm and keto on, as they say around here.
