I’ve looked at a lot of research on the protein question and I’ve never seen this. Are you just going on what someone has said or have you seen this research? If you have can you provide the links? I’d be dearly interested in reading those studies.
Protein and fat overdo
I’d very much like to see the recent research claims; most new revelations have proven otherwise. Do you have links?
In my earlier days I was a bodybuilder, but now I train more for weight lifting/operational strength (for my job) and have been dabbling in powerlifting for the last couple of years. Once I stopped worrying about the claims of an “anabolic window” and other unproven things, it made everything that encompasses my training more efficient and less complicated. I reversed my T2D, got off of all of my meds as far as keto and fasting benefits. In addition, I did a massive recomp of my body and was able to get down to 12% bodyfat and put on 11 pounds of lean mass faster and relatively easier than when I was in my mid-twenties. It’s like I supercharged my efforts when I stopped trying to force everything to happen nutritionwise into a nonexistent window.
Many of my friends and acquaintances have also given up the notion of an anabolic window.
Look up Gravity Transformation as well; he was the person who made me start to seriously question the window, and inspired me to start doing deep research on my own, as I was worried about all my time and effort wasted… not to mention my hard-earned muscle. He did a LOT of research and tells you exactly what it is, who did it, dates, and the people who did it.
