Can anyone clarify the relationship between the above for me? I was sure I heard significant carb intake during pregnancy increased the risk of type 1 diabeties in the child but now I can’t find the science. Is this backed by studies? All help appreciated.
A very brief Google search led to this article. It’s not a great source, but I’m sure you could seek out the original studies. Nothing about general carbohydrate intake, but a possible link to gluten consumption by a pregnant woman leading to increased risk of diabetes in the child.
