Precision Neo Glucose/Keto Meter - from Canada

Just a quick tip for anyone looking to purchase a Glucose/Ketone meter. The new’ish Precision Neo meters in other countries (outside the US) is a new version that includes both tests. This is the replacement for the Xtra meter. Unfortunately, the U.S. version strips out the Ketone functionality.

I was able purchase this newer full featured meter from our Canadian neighbors:

Can’t find a description. Does it display both numbers while using one test/strip? Or is it just capable of using either type of strip?

No, you need different test strips. The glucose testing strips are relatively inexpensive, whereas the ketone testing strips can be quite expensive. The cheapest I’ve been able to find (in Canada) is approx. $2.75/strip.
