Pluckers - which of their sauces are safe?

(Donna ) #1

We are going to Pluckers tonight with friends to eat wings. Our friend is also LC (but not as clean as we are) and says their regular sauce and lemon pepper sauces are good and he feels that they ‘should be low carb’.

I went online and Pluckers does not have nutritional information or ingredients listed anywhere. I called the local restaurant and they said “we get our sauces in buckets, we don’t know exactly what’s in them but you should be safe with a dry rub.”

I’ve called the corporate office in Austin, TX and left a message, requesting information. I don’t hold out hope that I will know anything before this evening.

I don’t want to consume sugar or starch, but most of all I don’t want any MSG.

I’m amazed they don’t have the nutrition on the site, so I checked, and you are correct. Sorry for doubting.

I do note that they sell some the sauces. These should have nutrition labels, though not on the website, sadly.

MFP has a lot of menu items:

For what that’s worth.

Oh! Thanks!

I’ll go see if I can figure out ingredients that way.

This is so frustrating! No ingredients listed.

Yeah… infuriating.

Maybe you could call a restaurant and ask if they could look at the back of the bottle for carb content…

Get um naked and just add hot sauce…assuming you like them that hot with no butter.

They now have full nutritional facts on their site: https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/592740e995c3096bba010fd0/5b049c4f8b20b03207264b6a_pluckers-nutrition-facts.pdf
