After several fits and starts and dabbles in Atkins/Low carb, I’m in. I actually started about a month ago but caved after an epic bike ride (see my post in the bicycle category) and a week’s vacation in Puerto Rico. Currently on day 5 of ‘this time I mean it’ and down 5lbs. I’m staying up on my electrolytes with my version of keto-ade, Morton lite salt and a daily multi-vitamin and so far feel fine.
Food prep is fairly easy as Mrs Sinker and I are empty-nesters. She’s not intentionally doing keto, but since I do most of the cooking… For example last night I baked salmon in olive oil and had broccoli and brown rice as sides. I just added more butter to my salmon and broccoli and didn’t eat any rice.
I’ve binged the podcast and have perused the forum; thanks to everybody for all the great info!
I’m looking forward to asking questions here and perhaps contributing as I learn what works for me.
