At 0.52 an ounce this is a steal. The flavor is reminiscent of the parmesan type cheeses, it is a hard cheese, and it is used the same way. 3 pounds will go a long way! The flavor is perfect. Best buy in cheese I have ever found. Comes in a whole, sealed round. Melts nicely in heat. I topped some sausage burgers with it last night and it was heavenly. Since I am lactose intolerant (almost totally) I need to stick with sheep and goat cheese, and this one is a winner!
