I need this to make chocolates, candy bars, and mousse :candy:

It’s a shame that the best part is what they have to take out to make it a powder but yea it’s handy to have around. We’ve had a jar of PB Fit for awhile now.

Yes. I don’t buy it because it has less fat. Obviously. Lol

You can get legit higher fat content peanut flour from http://byrdmill.com/product-category/gourmet-peanut-flour/

The 28% light roast is the highest fat content peanut flour I’ve seen available. I buy this literally by the palette from the actual producer (Golden Peanut - I think my last order was >600lbs.) - Byrd mills repackages it into smaller bags for people who don’t want 50lbs at a time. It’s really good stuff!

No doubt.
Good info.
I just want peanut flavor. There’ll be plenty of fat in my mousse (heavy cream) and candies (butter and coconut oil)!!!

very cool, thanks for sharing.

Generally, the higher the peanut oil content, the stronger the peanut
flavor.

Meh.

what the fuck?

I use it to make a ketogenic nutritionally complete shake. One of the flavors (my personal favorite, had it for breakfast and lunch) is chocolate peanut butter. Golden Peanut had a price reduction just before the new year so I bought enough to last 3 months.

Yeah it’s a weird explanation, but the short version is I have a lot of experience with peanut flour :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

600 lbs only lasts you 3 months?? Lol

(Chris Bair) #12

Yeah well, I make a lot of it. I have the recipe open sourced so people can make it themselves if they want, but most would rather avoid the mixing and measuring so they buy it from me packaged up and ready to go.

That recipe + 10g of peanut flour per serving (the recipe is for 3 servings/1 day) makes the chocolate peanut butter flavor.

In all your comments I did not notice you were selling it. I thought you were eating it.
Carry on then. Lol

Carl doesn’t like me making any mention of it, even in passing, so I try to keep it low key and respect that.

Kind of hard to talk about ordering 600 pounds of peanut powder and not raise questions.

Christ.
