This is my 14th week in & had been doing great but now seemed to have lost my way & doubting what I’m doing.
For most of these 14 weeks I’ve been having a bpc (2tbsps coconut oil & butter) which set me up for the Entire day but then I did a 48 hour water fast, caved at 40 hours & had some bone broth & then eggs after… The day after the fast I was ravenous & couldn’t stop eating.
Then I thought that I’d change things up as I read that it’s good to change things up to maximize body fat consumption to avoid stalling (something like that). The change I made was not having my usual bpc which left me with a bottomless pit all day & just couldn’t get enough food. So I gave my body what it asked for. Plenty more, keto, food.
Then today I tried a pre HIIT workout reduced fat bpc at 11am which kept me going all day until a handful of macadamia nuts before heading to work at 5pm because I didn’t feel hungry at all…
But now I have confused myself as to whether to cut out my morning bpc to change things up, which leaves me with a bottomless all day, or have the bpc which basically sets me up for the Entire day but risk my body go into starvation mode & slowing my BMR?
Saying that, I guess if I don’t feel hungry there’s no way I’m starving myself anyway right?
Reason 1 for changing up was I felt I was stalling with no obvious changes to energy, weight or clothes fittings in weeks…
Reason 2…I heard Megan Ramos suggest changing things up…
Any suggestions anyone?
