Our bodies surprise us

From late April to mid March I was down about 35lbs. Then I lost one pounds from then to Thursday . Friday I increased calories over the calculator( told me I should have 1798) and decreased fat ( told me 140g) and apple cider vinegar before bed and lost almost 4.8 lbs as off this am.

Also I just bought a cheap Apple cider vinegar snd so disgusting . Is there anything To make it easier to drink . I dilute it in water

Dilute in water—add salt. I only drink it when fasting

I don’t take acv daily, but if anything acidic tastes unusually good, I make sure to have some. Because then the acv also tastes really good, and likely because my body has a use for it.

I know I really struggled to get it down me! 2 things helped, either dilute in raspberry tea with a spot of stevia, or freeze it in little ice cubes that you can do 1 crunch and swallow! That was a tip I got on this site.

Thanks ,I’m trying to stay away from sweetener and diary but I need my cream in my cauliflower mash. Tried it when I started keto and I love it. Butter cream pink salt pepper and garlic powder . Not as good as mashed potatoes but still really good

Cold numbs taste so mix it in whatever drink you like and down it over ice.

I make a raw cacao coconut cream with salt and add it to ACV and ice with a splash of stevia.

If it’s morning, I make it with coffee and raw cacao + MCT.

Re ACV - it can be very hard on tooth enamel unless very dilute or drunk by using a straw. This is one of the many reasons why I prefer encapsulated dry Ginger.

I’m in IF 20/4 and drinking 2-3 coffee per day. Is better drink 1 ACV per day? Or do you know something other what can replace coffee? Thank you

I have found you either love the taste or hate it. I am in the hate it category. I used to drink about a shot of it every morning diluted in a glass of water with salt and sometimes some lemon juice. I would drink it down at once, when I was done, I still wouldn’t breath, and I would have some plain water ready to wash some of the taste away. In my family, we referred to it as “Apple Crapple.”

ACV is actually much lower in acidity than most foods. If you drank soda for years, the acidity in ACV is not substantially different.

It’s a frequently referred to “risk” but it’s really a great excuse given that it’s just hard to take straight

Use it on your salad?
Use it in cooking?
Add it to all your drinks.

Cauliflower soup with more cream than water… I use cream cheese and butter in my mash. But now I think I’ll try some cream as well.
