Orlando Vacation Suggestions

(Andrew Anderson) #1

Spending spring break with the family in Orlando soon. We plan to hit the Magic Kingdom and Universal Studios. Any Keto friendly suggestions for in the park or outside?

In the Magic Kingdom, the Turkey Leg place by Hall of Presidents would be a good idea.

They often (in many eateries) have salad, cheese\fruit plates. If you can get a note from your doctor, you can take in a cooler for dietary reasons (unsure how a Doc would word it), but if it was on a letterhead, signed\dated, it would increase the chances - I know they make allowances for babies, other health patients, diabetics, ect.

There are numerous restaurants all around the park - either going along 192 and on both sides of I4.

There are good online guides of the area, often having maps of the local shops and eateries. Good luck and wish you great weather.

Bunless sandwiches, both hot and cold, are always great. Many things are prepared ahead of time but you can always ask to have bacon and extra cheese added to any sandwich. If you are at a sit down restaurant there are more choices and remember to ask for real butter to go with everything!
