On and Off Keto Problems Non-Existent!

Hey everyone,

So, I have struggled with the Keto way of life since I started probably a year ago. It seemed as though I was good for most of the day and then I binged something carby during the day. Sometimes I was able to make it to day two. But, I always cheated.

But, today is the end of day three and I am super pumped. I am on vacation from college this week, so this week is the key to sticking to my new lifestyle. I am so happy right now! :tada::tada::tada::tada::tada::tada::tada:

Yay, you’re doing a good job!
I can’t speak much as I am new to keto but be sure you get enough fat! I seem to have a problem with cravings and caving for them if I don’t have enough fat…OR it could be an emotional thing (like I deal with sometimes). Try to stay away from places and people that cause stress or advertisements for carby foods.
As for vacations, they can be very hard. The best way to combat it is to pack nonparishable keto snacks ahead of time such as nuts, coconut oil (to put in coffee or hot tea) and pork rinds (they have a good amount of protein). I also like to bring an avocado already cut and boiled eggs for the road.
If you feel yourself start to falter take to this forum! I love being on here and chatting with people about my problems. And if you have a slip up, don’t let it make you feel so down, just pick right back up where you left off.
