I mentioned in elsewhere earlier today:

They came out with a larger sized bottle early last year. I bought a dozen of them because they were very cheap. I normally pay $2.08 for the 13.3-oz bottles at Walmart. But when they introduced the 29.5 oz bottles, I bought 5 for $3.79 each from Target. A few months later, Walmart had them on a rollback special, so I picked up a dozen of the large bottles for $2.48 each. Now $3.98.

Target charges $3.19 for the small and $3.79 for the large.

So now, I have a closet full of ketchup. And a spicy jalapeno mustard (which is typically hard to get, but also went on sale very cheaply so I bought a few cases).

*A couple years ago, I had a closet full of Rao’s Marinara because jet.com was selling the 15.5-oz jars for $2.49. I mentioned it on Reddit and people were saying they were sold out a few hours later. *

I like my spices and sauces!

I love it, it makes a good cooking ingredient too.

I am making myself a REAL cheeseburger today. I forego the bun, but I need ketchup - and this fills the keto bill! I just found it last week too.

If you put a little in some mayo it makes a great rose Marie sauce for a prawn and avocado cocktail! :yum:

@crackerjack
OHHHH You are full of great ideas! I never thought of that. I love me a good shrimp cocktail!!! And now I have the ketchup to do so. ( I might need to buy a lot more)

#8

We do the SF ketchup with horseradish sauce, heavy on the horseradish.

#9

I prefer the cocktail sauce but thought this was gone forever!!!

#10

Love it! I cant taste a difference from regular ol’ sugar added ketchup lol

You should try some of these sauces too. They’re really popular at our place.

Those are interesting. Once in a great while, I get tired of having meat. So, I resort to some higher carb BBQ sauces. The ones to which you linked are relatively low in carb.

(Jeff S) #13

Last time I checked, the sodium level in this is much higher than regular Ketchup, so be aware.

#14

While I use this, I do so sparingly. It contains Sucralose.

As someone who adds salt to their coffee, and lots of salt to everything, I’m not sure that’s a concern for me.

I never liked barbecue sauce. Dont know why. It even bothers me on ribs. I guess I dont like the sweet taste in it. So thats just one thing I never missed. But I do miss a good pink cocktail sauce!!! Or even 1000 island dressing. I adore mayonnaise and always used it so sparingly on SAD. I can now laugh all the way to the supermarket.
