Obsessed with cheese shells

I’m obsessed with cheese shell tacos…:heart_eyes_cat: there’s shredded chicken, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and more cheese!!!

Oh yummy yum. Meal inspo.

My 1st attempt at cheese shells was amazing. Was full after only two tacos instead of the usual 4-6 and it was entirely more delicious.

Yum!!! How did you make yours soo thin! I love it!

(Brian Miller) #8

I think maybe I spread the cheese out rounder than some to begin with, other than that I’ve got no clue. Hanging them to cool on the contraption I built today also helped to shape them.

OK…I need to do this. I miss tacos!!

PVC shell molds! For the win!

(Rachel Holt) #11

Did you bake, fry, or microwave them? And how long?

(Jacqueline Magana ) #12

I put a shredded cheese in a mound on a hot skillet till the bottom was crispy then flipped it

This is awesome @VoodooChum

Inspirational! I had thought of frying up some of the low carb tortillas using the taco form but this looks so much better!

Your contraption is awesome. We have trouble hanging out shells every time. I’m gonna copy your idea. Can’t believe I didn’t think of somthing like this myself. Thanks

Amazing. I am totally doing this tonight. Just started and needing inspiration!

I need to make these. I don’t know why I’ve been afraid to try it. I’m making that crack chicken in the crock pot sometime this week so I think I’ll try it then.
