Hey KETO-Peeps, just wanted to relay something that never happened to me - in my life. I was checking out at the Kroger store, buying some Glucometer supplies and picked up a bottle of Magnesium citrate. I used my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card to purchase the supplies, but to my chagrin, I owed $1.00 for the Magnesium citrate. I didn’t want to swipe my CC for a $1.00 so I asked the attendant at the self checkout to remove the product. Well, Cindy (I asked her name afterwards) gave me a dollar, fed it in to the machine and allowed me to complete the transaction! I was stunned. Never in my life has someone showed me that kind of kindness. (Stranger-wise) She was so non-plussed about it. I told my wife about it, thinking it was how good looking I was, and she reminded me about how much my demeanor had changed over the past few months. She said I was a different person, smiling, happy, full of energy and positive emotions. I would say the this is one of the best NSV’s!

TLDR; My attitude and joy of life has increased so much that I affect people in a positive way! :grinning:

Pay it forward!

I once paid for someone’s parking as they didn’t have change. 2 weeks later was standing at the self checkout and was £1 short, the woman next to me handed me the £1.

The world is full of random kindness!

Wonderful, the kindness of people! Now pay it forward. Generosity is a gift we give to ourselves. I can tell you will. :grinning::grinning:

Acquaintances and strangers treat me differently now that I’m height/weight proportionate, compared to 65 pounds ago. When I was obese I felt invisible in comparison.

Or I have a better attitude?

Thought provoking.

Now that I feel a lot better about myself, I feel better about my interactions with people. For a long time, when I’m out and about, I’ve been trying to do at least one kind thing for a stranger everyday, help someone with a cart, or get something from a shelf, or carry a bag or hold a door, etc. I firmly believe that what goes around, comes around in all things. Being Keto makes it easier by far! KCKO

For years, I felt like I lived in a constant state of invisibility and said so on many occasions.

I also feel that energy in my interactions! Really, I’m enjoying it.

Is it that you feel better about yourself therefore this projects onto other people and they treat you different, not directly because of your weight loss but your renewed approach to life?

In my self-delusion I’ll attribute it to being a hottie haha
