NSV: Jogging in a 5k and no longer pre-diabetic

My non-scale victories include jogging in a 5k last month and being pronounced no longer pre-diabetic. ( A1ac of 5.5 not 5.7).

Encourage everyone facing stall points to judiciously add in weight training and some exercise. It’s a nice way of breaking the body’s routine!

My Wife’s the same. She’s run 5km’s the last two weekends and is doing another this weekend. She’s come off her 4 Metformin per day and her morning bloods are down to pre-diabetic levels. I’ve been trying to convince here for a good while that this WOE is her future but her diabetic nurse convinced her that the antiquated way of managing her diet was best. Thankfully, she’s seen the light! :bulb:
