Friend told me his father thought I was dying of cancer since I had lost so much weight in the past 6 months. I looked at his dad and said not Cancer, Keto and judging by the way he looked he thought Keto was some other horrible disease!

That can be the case especially with those of us “of a certain age”. I’ve had that happen. Conversation usually starts with “you’ve lost weight”…pause…and a look that tries to look happy and concerned at the same time. I follow up quickly with “yes! All good and intensional, thank you for noticing” and then big 
’s all around.

I did that to a friend who was much thinner than when I last saw him (18 months earlier). Turns out it WAS cancer 
… but was already ‘cured’ (thankfully).
