Noob_sauce Day 37!

(Paul Flickner) #1

Hello All… I discovered Keto by stumbling upon a Butter Bob video… I was immediately intrigued and interested and started scouring the web and youtube watching dozens of video’s over the next 48 hours.

I liked everything I saw and was mentally ready for a change !

I started @ 290Lbs - 5-7 w/high blood pressure, reflux, and sleep apnea… :frowning:

I’ve tried a few of the limit fat & restrict calories diets and have lost as much as 30 lbs in the past… but 3-4 moths in… back to the good old American diet… :frowning:

Sounds simple enough… Meat, Eggs, Cheese, Fish/Seafood, Nuts/Seeds, Above Ground Veggies, Fat, and limited high fat dairy… lose the processes oils, flours, and sugar…

I love to cook and enjoy everything on the keto list… so lets go !!

My 37 day daily average: 1,677 cal 136g Fat (72.79%), Net Carbs 14g (3.4%) Protein 89 (21.22%)

By day 14 I was down to 270 (-20lbs)… I wasn’t hungry and losing weight  and there I sat for 19 days @ 270lbs… but I was feeling better and could feel differences in my body… 46 pants were tight when I started and now the 44’s were comfortable and 42’s aren’t far away… Putting my belt on was easier… and I can easily tie my shoes now…

Today on day 37, I broke the 270 plateau… 268! whew… I kept on the path that I can only control today and stay patient and results will happen :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m lovin’ Keto and can easily see myself losing all the weight I want to and eating this way for the rest of my life…

Sippin’ my Keto Coffee and have a crockpot of Hot Dog Soup in the Crockpot - https://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/2016/02/chili-dog-soup-low-carb-gluten-free.html

Lovin’ Life, Lovin’ Keto !!

Keep Calm and Keto On !!

Hey Paul. :slightly_smiling_face: Right on, Man.

Down to 44" waist pants here too, though those 42s don’t seem all that close…

Perhaps we could arrange a meat-up for ketoers in the Nutmeg State. My nearest and dearest are all sugar-burners and just don’t understand. It would be nice to meet others who share this WOE.

Count me in !! I’m in the same boat here… all of my family and friends eat the all american typical diet…
