Non Scale Annoyance

Maybe not the memories themselves (although who knows right now), but what about the bodies stress response to those memories.

Well, the brain is capable of retaining and recalling memories. So, biochemical reactions and tissues in the body certainly can contain memory. I’d be interested to understand the link between autophagy of fat and other cells and how that links back to recalling memories and bringing up emotions/feelings.

Megan Ramos did say on a fasting podcast that pockets of sugar absolutely get stored with fat. So that confirmed that theory. Also explains why my Blood sugar is high right now (110) even though I’ve been fasting for more than 7 days.

Exactly- not the memories, but maybe feelings of anxiety or fear, if fat is able to store the chemical ā€œfootprintsā€ of those emotions. My question would be, though, what is the biological advantage of such a process? I can’t see one.

There may not be an advantage is these particular chemical ā€œfootprintsā€. My guess would be that they would be more likely to be a hindrance or a complication than anything else.

Edited the title for spelling.

Think cavemen! They’d be losing their fat stores when hunting… so possibly when they were out there moving and hunting the release of strong emotions from the joy of a large kill or the fear of a scary cave would be triggered?
Just a thought!

I was thinking about that… seems plausible! I don’t believe it (yet) but that sure would be an interesting hypothesis to research!
