I was getting tired of eggs and sausage every day. Someone here posted a No Bake Keto Cheesecake- and that gave me a super easy and tasty alternative. I usually sub it in once or twice a week. It’s like 4 ingredients and takes only minutes to prep the night before. If your up for it you can top it with a few raspberries or blackberries. Ill add some sausage or even one or two hot dogs to make the macros come out good. I think you can search the recipe here- and thanks to the peeps who put it out there!!
NON Egg Breakfast
If I don’t have the option of cooking my morning meal, I like to have about two ounces of cheddar and 1/2 cup of almonds. Surprisingly tasty and satisfying.
BUY the David 2.5 ounce shelled pumpkin seeds and eat it along with a swig of some decaf coffee/tea + stevia (No cream) and blended mct powder or butter or coconut oil
I recommend refrainaing from liquid dairy*
Really really slows down digestion and trace lactose
And the pumpkin seeds come out at only 3 net carbs and taste like popcorn or even like kettle corn if you throw stevia on them, same goes for sunflower,or pecans/walnuts
Get the single serves of Wholly Guacamole, can eat anywhere. Dip bacon or pork rinds into it
You mean a NON “Egg- SISTENT “ Breakfast?
I’m “cracking” up !!z
Ready to take a “shell”-lacking !!
For this lame pun😃
Oh Boy though
I’m all for just skipping breakfast if possible
Once you get past that initial mind hunger thought or craving
Pinch yourself, I mean take a pinch of salt
That will get you to lunch imho
Good Luck
Im skipping breakfast this morning! By the time I eat lunch I will have fasted for about 15 hours or so
Sounds like your ready to try OMAD (One Meal A Day) makes life so much simpler and the health benefits are a bonus
Im not sure how I will feel at the end of my fast today, Im already starting to feel some hunger pains (very mild) but I think Ill be alright.
Reading about fasting is very interesting to me and how people can go a whole week without eating? That seems insane!
Once you’re fully fat-adapted, the challenge will be eating, not not-eating! I find myself not eating breakfast most days, because I’m simply not hungry. It’s really annoying, because eliminating even one meal a day reduces my opportunities to eat bacon!
Smoked salmon, avocado and scrambled eggs ( cooking but doesn’t take much time).
Just the smoked salmon and avocado and maybe a small side salad! That is if no eggs to be involved.
A friend of mine who has been doing Keto since October 2017 said that very thing. Where she gets too full from small amounts of food to continue eating and often skips meals.
I didnt have salt, but I had a bottle of ketoaid. My fast was about 15 hours (skipping breakfast) and I was definitely feeling hungry and weak before lunch.
Even after eating I dont feel well, stomach seems upset and Im very worn out.
My farmer friend brought me 3 doz eggs the other day so I’m up to my eyeballs here. I gave your suggestion a whirl and wanted to Thank You. I did 300g HWC, 300g eggs, pinch of salt, added the juice and zest of one big lemon and some sweetener and my little custards came out Awesome! So easy, so creamy, so yummy!
Awesome. I am tempted to mess with my formula a bit (go to 50% HWC as you’ve done), but I am so in love with the current formulation. Oh, and I had a Costco brick of goat cheese in the fridge.
I have read repeatedly that you should not force a fast. Kind of disappointed to see so many people telling you to skip breakfast. I mean if you weren’t hungry for breakfast you wouldn’t be asking for ideas!
There is a ketobagel recipe out there using the fathead dough…I’ve tried both the coconut flour version and the almond flour version, both are good. I’ve been on a huge goat cheese kick lately and have been putting that on my bagel…very yum!
I still don’t know how to upload a photo or I would show you today’s breakfast! I made egg mushroom and tomato cups in filo pastry for a change because I don’t like to eat processed food such as bacon sausage and corned beef. I love eggs but don’t want them every day so will try your oatmeal recipe for a change.
