Your body is unique and your loss is not like anyone else’s loss in weight. And, the initial loss is usually water weight. My first keto adventure, I lost I think 20 lbs in the first month. It was fast. Then I went off it after an annoying medical diagnosis and restarted at the end of December last year. I had gained all the original weight back and more. Now, I’m losing very slowly. I’m doing the same stuff and more than last time even. The point is, even weight loss with the same body is different. Trust the keto process.
The basic “rules” I go by and many others can agree with especially for beginners are
*20g net carbs max (you might tolerate more but, starting out, 20g net carbs or less will get you into ketosis.)
*Moderate protein (1g-1.5g per kg of lean bodyweight is a good goal based on the 2 Dudes recommendations.)
*Fat to satiety (add fat to every meal and, if you are hungry, eat more fat.)
*Do not restrict calories
*Drink plenty of water
*Get plenty of sodium and other electrolytes
