I just did a gnarly 35 mile ride with about 2500 feet of climbing on a pretty windy day. Usually on a ride like this, I’d need to fuel a couple times during the ride and I’d be dreaming about what to eat for lunch about halfway through the ride. This is the first long ride I’ve done on keto (my usual weekday rides are about 20 miles) and I am FLOORED that I didn’t need to fuel at all! I got off the bike and the first thing I said was, “I’m not even hungry!!!”

For breakfast, I had a couple slices of bacon and 2 eggs along with some coffee and coconut oil. I can’t wait to try a fasted ride! This is a total game changer for cycling.
