Will it slow down my process if I drink “zevia” drink??? I used to drink Pepsi and sweet tea all day long at work, and now nothing (water and oolong tea is all I drink at work now), so I’m really hoping zevia is ok…lol

Everyone’s sensitivity to artificial sweeteners is different. Many find that beverages like Zevia are a nice transition to no sweeteners at all.
Should be fine. The other thing that I have found is quite nice is just sparkling water with lots of ice and chunks of lime.
So it won’t hurt my progress tho? Lol I love the stuff just d ont wanna screw up my keto diet haha
Possibly. Everyone reacts differently to different types of sweeteners. It would be better to form a habit of non-sweetened drinks in my opinion but you’ll most likely feel and respond fine to it. There isn’t a ton of research out and even if there was, you may respond differently.
Hurt your progress? I don’t know. Probably not. Often, a Zevia can satisfy your sweet tooth. But, everyone is different.
The only person that can answer your question is you. Buy a glucose testing kit (glucometer, lancet, strips) and measure your blood glucose before and 30 minutes after ingesting the pop. If there’s little change, then it’s safe to assume it doesn’t illicit an insulin response in you. That doesn’t mean it has no impact on your body. It may effect gut microbiome, cravings, taste buds and cause other disturbances.
