Hi All. I’ve been doing Keto since December, but I’m new to the forum. Looking for some help because I’m struggling with fat consumption in general. Not so much as hitting my fat goals, but actually eating the fat. I did bacon and eggs today for a meal and feel horrible from the bacon. Wondering if anyone else has dealt with this or if anyone has suggestions.
New To Forum/Keto Since December
Not so much nausea just gross feeling. It’s hard to explain, maybe the feeling you get before you get nauseous? I was doing pretty good for a while, not running into many issues when I started, but just started having issues recently either hitting my macros or finding foods to eat that I enjoy.
Are you OK with butter? Olive and avocado oils? Cream cheese? Hard cheeses? Salads with plenty of full-fat dressing? Maybe you’re just sensitive to pork.
It might have been more the eggs, but I feel the entire meal just kind of sitting. I’ve never had an issue before with pork.
I do BPC in the morning with butter and don’t seem to have an issue, but I’ve started noticing I’m getting more hungry earlier than I normally would. Lunches I either do a salad from chipotle with sour cream, cheese, guac and steak or salami/pepperoni and cheese and dinner I tend to struggle to find quick easy things to make. Working full time and being a single mom right now is tough to try to get dinner on the table for my kiddo and me and typically tends to be different.
I don’t believe so. I try to read the labels when I’m buying things and didn’t see sugar listed on this new package I got.
Nope, brand new carton, so I know that wasn’t the issue. This isn’t the first time I’ve felt this way with foods though. More recently though then when I first started
I got through the keto flu, and figured out the macros that work for me so I don’t feel starving, but now I just feel blech.
