Hi there
New to Keto, but have spent since April '17 modifying my eating, I’ve previously been successful using a VLCal medically supervised diet, so I did 6 months of that, working with the medical supervisor to use IF rather than the recommended “eat 6 small meals a day” - lost 90# and reduced my fasting insulin from 36 to 14…
I ended up coming off that regime as I had to go to england to a funeral, and then just generally didn’t get life back organized immediately, followed by a weeks vacation in Hawaii, so ~16 of those pounds have come back, but rather than returning to the VLCal diet, I’ve started Keto today, with the intention of adding back in the IF as soon as I work out if I am going to need to live through the keto-flu or if I am going to be lucky.
I have been having some issues recently with my gallbladder wanting to make itself known - I have had gallstones identified for years at this point, but I’m usually asymptomatic, does anyone know of any studies of whether I’m going to see an improvement, or whether I should start planning when to have my gallbladder removed…?
Happy to be here, thank you for all the amazing information!
Mary
