I agree and I know that I’m a bit of a purist, but I’m not convinced “dirty keto is better than no keto”. My opinion: processed artificial sweeteners, weirdly manipulated “low carb” plant bases, and industrial oils are some of the biggest culprits behind our current health crisis, perhaps as much as the glut of carbs. Sometimes I think the unifying factor of avoiding Big Food is what drives the success of “extreme” diets, almost regardless of their macro composition.
