I can’t have caffeine because I have ME/CFS.
Most affordable herbal teas like Bigelow and celestial seasonings have ‘natural flavor’ …I love tea and they really help me between meals but how can I tell if they are spiking my insulin? The fact that I feel they ‘help me’ get through fasting must mean they are doing something to my insulin…
Some even have dried fruit juice…!
They claim to have no carbs but I’m skeptical…

I know the safest bet is to buy my own loose herbs like verbena or rooibos but tea bags way more convenient.
I drink 2-4 cups a day so it’s better than fussing around with a teapot and herbs.
Do you think these brands (bigelow and celestial seasonings) are keto safe? If not, what is a keto friendly herbal tea?
I love yogi teas but they have stevia…not sure if this is ok.
I don’t do glucose testing so I have no way of actually testing.
