I’d like to solicit suggestions from a few of you with more experience about my current pattern of fasting/time restricted eating.
Monday-Friday is time restricted. I eat at lunch time at work then at dinner time, 16:8. On Saturday I eat nothing. On Sunday I have an early morning breakfast and mid afternoon dinner. (I don’t snack.)
Going forward I’m expecting to keep this pattern and eat a couple of 100 extra calories per day over maintenance during the week to encourage muscle growth from lifting then hope to burn some fat calories on a Saturday 36 hour fast and spare lean tissue in the process.
Does this sound reasonable?
