I was a few weeks into keto eating when I posted last about normalizing my sugars. I was waking up with sugars at 170-190 with a drop to 1140-150 during the day. It seems so frustrating to put so much effort into your healthy and diet only to be duped by your body!
So after listening to Dr Jason Fung interview with the dudes, I did a few days of intermittent fasting, eating one meal about 16-18 hours apart. It was easy to go this long without eating, and I would have went over 24 but my family is not quite onboard yet. So anyway I have been waking up with fasting sugars of 110-120 ans dropping to 80-90 during the day! I feel no ill effect of these numbers. I fact I feel better than I have in a long time!
So thanks to all that give encouragement everyday on the forums, it helps more than you really know! I don’t post a lot but I read a lot, and I’m sure I’m not the only one!
