My favorite stand-up comedians riff on food

You Tube occasionally kicks these off so if they don’t play, do a search in there, someone always reposts them. A lot of the humor is pretty ironic considering what I know now being keto.

John Pinette on the Chinese buffet

Jim Gaffigan on bacon

Danny Bhoy on Scottish food

Lewis Black on milk and water (NSFW)

Eddie Murphy on ice cream (NSFW)

John Oliver on sugar

“No! They’re lumpy and misshapen!”

(Ross Daniel) #4

“Total fuck fat in water! … What that implies is, there is water with chunks of fat in it, and I gotta find that water. 'Cuz that’s the tasty goddamn water.”

Almost all John Pinette’s stand up is food related. His bit about juicing a ham… LOL

Was. Keto could possibly have saved him.

Actually, John was one of the rare ones who had good numbers despite his weight, he mentions it in his stand up, I’ll post the bit when I find it. They’re out there, I was one of them. I remember standing on that metal scale at Kaiser Permanente, The Phantom Menace, while the happy, excited nurse went on and on about how fit I was. I had exceptional numbers on everything they measured and was stronger, more flexible, and had a greater lung capacity than any of the doctors. I was a weightlifter, a mountain climber, and I ran my own landscaping business six days a week.

I was also 5’, 7" and weighed 190 pounds.

The second she saw that reading on the scale, her face darkened. She turned to me and, I swear to god, she started lecturing me about how I was going to die soon. Three little Arabic numerals apparently cancelled out reality for her. That how fucked up the medical community is. Don’t drink their Kool-Aid.

This one’s for you, Faitmaker:

In his older standup, his famous joke is his cholesterol has a comma. I believe he had also lost weight at the end and those numbers may have been a snapshot of time, not an example of non-disease. It’s all speculation, but I think the inflammation reduction alone may have benefited him.

I meant to say “was”… :frowning:
He was my absolute favorite comedian.

Oh I’m so familiar… I could probably quote all of his bits. Thanks though!
