Music to code by

Random I know but Carl Franklin…Aka one of the keto dudes has a an album, Music to Code By. I downloaded the entire collection and it’s so sweet. It’s not music in the sense of something you’re use to. It’s more like “Productive” music. I just cooked a 3 course meal to “Purple” totally jammin out.

Thanks Carl!! The whole collection is awesome :ok_hand:

I wonder if this would help while studying? Is it possibly in iTunes?

#4

I agree - it is great. I am not sure which one I was listening to now but it totally cleared my headache.

#5

Producing a bit of music myself, he’d probably love a mention.

@carl

@jbc from what I found it ,can only be downloaded. I couldn’t find it in the Google play store.

I am pretty sure it would help you when studying.

I use it at work when colleagues are chatting.

Invest in it. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

@carl litterly me any my two boys (8 year old twins) were reading and jammin out to Sienna, I looked over and both were slowly bobbing their head reading. Haha…Wicked good stuff!!

(carl) #13

That’s awesome. I’ve got 2 customers with autistic children that use it to focus and relax at bedtime. It’s pretty amazing, actually.

I am listening to it right now to surf the forums and block out people who insist upon talking at the library. I used to use a “nature sounds” plugin called Noisili, but I MTCB is my choice now.

I should look into mtcb to play at work. Anything that will help me focus and make progress on a couple big projects is welcome. Too many distractions here.

Recommendations on unzipping & accessing files via iPhone only would be appreciated.

(carl) #17

Unfortunately Apple forces you to download all the mp3s to your iPhone via iTunes. So, you have to import them on your mac/pc and then sync with your iPhone.

Zipping and Unzipping on a mac is easy

I purchased the songs directly from here http://mtcb.pwop.com/ for $40 and was easily able to add it to my iTunes on my work computer (that has iTunes) - it’s one of my new productivity hacks. The original reason was to just support what he’s doing at 2KetoDudes indirectly but it’s pretty good background stuff. Additionally, if that kind of music isn’t your thing, I’ve heard of many folks on podcasts (such as Tim Ferriss, Bulletproof Radio, and I believe Tony Robbins) that you can also, just take one track and put it on repeat over and over.
