Something I learned today. Addendum to post 18 above, my comparison between Jan11 and Jan14. Today’s meal consisted of 250 gr of Great Value Cream Cheese and 74.5 gr of Maple Leaf Sliced Roast Beef for a total of 8.25 grams carbs. Exactly the same as Jan 11 and 14. The difference today is my ‘tonic’ consisted of 450 ml of diet tonic soda and 50 ml of 5-Hour Energy. No 99 liqueur. That stuff apparently contains significant sugar!

Hi,
I am wondering why are you doing tonics/liqueur/bitters? Do you have a post you made that I can read about this?

The Bitters here.

The small and regular ethanol consumption here.

I’ve been doing the bitters off and on since about May/June 2020. I started the ethanol test about 3 months ago. I knew that 99 Liqueurs contained sugar, but thought it was small enough not to matter much. Due to the CGM I have discovered it’s enough to matter! So I’ve switch to Tanqueray Rangpur.

I should add, as I mentioned here, that citrate and acetyl consumption in the form of lime juice and red wine vinegar, seem to affect my overnight glucose, and possibly during the day as well. I’ve also noticed that I’m starting to awaken earlier as well, even on work days when I would normally awaken at 4-5 am.

I don’t know what’s happening. When I connect my reader to the computer, the FreeStyle Libre Drivers app no longer opens. So I can’t upload data from the reader to a sharable format. So no more glucose plot. Which means not much point continuing this episode. So… that’s all for now, folks.

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers? Btw, wanted to ! mention this earlier, You are so detail oriented and meticulous. Kudos to your patience and tenacity tracking and sharing all the info!
