You will cause you are tackling what it is going to take for you!!

and that yeasty smell. I know that smell a few times in my life. It is a biggie in the body but even without that in your face smell we can be candidia loaded easily. Thrives on sugar: from the net: But, it LOVES to feed on simple sugars , and when consumed in excess this causes microbial populations to become imbalanced, known as a state of dysbiosis.

You eliminate that sugar and eat that animal kingdom is healing, but your personal time for die off and more is just that, personal to your living body!

HOLD strong and move forward cause when that day hits, and it will!, your life changes so much to the better with even more great to come!

Thanks for the contagious positive mindset!

Interesting you should mention that. It was much more commonly discussed, four years ago when I first joined the forums. Not having experienced it myself, I kind of forgot about it. It’s something we need to bear in mind, however, because the die-off can be quite uncomfortable, from the posts I remember. If you search the forums for the term “candida,” you might find something helpful.

Please read up on magnesium deficiency. Anxiety can be a symptom of Mg deficiency along with a whole host of other health problems. Online is a good place to start. There is also a book called “The Magnesium Miracle” by Carolyn Dean. She is a little annoying promoting her own magnesium supplement in the book, but it is a WEALTH of information. It is really amazing how many different processes in our bodies need magnesium.

Update:

Not out the woods yet and don’t want to jinx it but I’m doing much better mentally than I was 1/2 months ago! Hoping that in 2/3 months time that I can be in a much better place.

Happy news. Hang in there.

I am still struggling with depression, and anxiety, but I have to say I am now having more good days than bad. I’m 13 months into Keto and I don’t cheat, really because I am too scared to because of my T2 diabetes.

I so hope you are feeling better, I need to read near the end, or just more of the thread to see how you are doing lately, Denise

(Denise) #55

yes, good news! I’ve posted a reply before I saw this, and really glad, and think I relate to it. It’s taken awhile for me, and some days I just can’t fight it off, depression/anxiety, but I guess I do because I’m still here

I’m with @robintemplin, hang in there!

thanks for your update and I am super duper happy for you and believe me ONLY MORE BETTER is to come for you on carnivore!

Keep moving forward and rocking out great changes. our mental clarity and our brains change alot on tihs journey, I believe if you are ‘feeling something good now’ with more time, more good comes! Think longer term and all the good you will feel

ZC Zen…is much chatted about on zc with how our thoughts change, how we ‘see’ so much more clearly and are not overly rushed by emotional changes and stress in life thru normal daily life…zc can help one thru alot of that mental aspect of our lives, but it changes for each of us at our own time line on plan…but longer and more zc you are, the better your changes, keep that forward movement! ZC Zen is not understood by many but when there, yes us all there chat about how much it has helped us

Thanks for the book suggestion. I just ordered the Audible book so I can listen while I knit or cross-stitch.

My husband has been making us a foot bath with Epsom salt in it about every other night and I definitely feel better since doing that.

I wanted to thank-you so much for the book suggestion. The audible book was a mistake because it is more of a reference book where you can look up your symptoms. Having it read to you with her long lists of symptoms was tedious. But I listened enough to convince me to try her ionized liquid because taking even the most “available” forms in the past I couldn’t tell any difference.

Anyhoo - I didn’t have bad magnesium deficiency symptoms but definitely felt better overall after a few days.

My husband OTOH… has been struggling with stomach pain, gas and constipation for several months now and the pain was near his gallbladder so we were sure the scans would show something. Nope. Gallbladder, liver, pancreas - all normal. Symptoms persisted and he was given a proton pump inhibitor without a diagnosis. It came on suddenly so “something” is wrong. He is sleeping practically sitting up in bed. :slightly_frowning_face:

I started out with 1/4 tsp since I have the opposite problem of constipation (per the recommendation on the bottle), but since he was dealing with that I told him to start with 1/2 tsp. In 2 days he has had immediate relief, slept like a rock, was able to focus better at bowling yesterday - for him it seems to be truly a magnesium miracle!

Plain old constipation is no joke. I had it for years (pre-keto).
Magnesium was a gift from heaven. I could tweak the dosage to exactly what I wanted.
Since going carnivore, I’ve forgotten to take it. Now I “go” rarely, but perfectly. As someone on here said, Less crap in, Less crap out”.

funny but for me I got guts of steel but alot of foods/combo could give me D for sure but on zc, I go daily. every morn like clockwork, small and done in a flash and to me this is just the best new normal I ever got from any eating plan for heatlh  I find if I eat a tad, I crap out a tad LOL and feel fine doing just that…but I also think I have good gut health now ya know…time on plan makes us change and we flip around and keep on learning and getting so much from this WOE if we keep the faith and the meal plan.

(Edith) #62

Oh wonderful! I’m glad I could help. It does my heart good.

I share your pain. Exactly the reason I turned to Carnivore at the beginning of this year!

Like you, I am also still waiting for some improvement. Stick with it, and let us know when that joyous day people talk about - when one day you wake up and feel great, happens to you. I would be interested to know how long it takes.

(John) #64

@carnipaws How are things going for you over there? Any recent improvements or just shame **** different day?

in full truth we are so different in our bodies that there will never ever be a set time for each person. from biological truths to actual life and living proofs so we can’t pretend ever there is some schedule to adhere, there never will.

this is a personal journey one walks alone. but one that if given alot of time can be a game changer in our lives!

for me it was…about year 3 I experienced ‘real zc zen’ as in I felt such a different sense of ‘being on this planet’ and that comes with healing and it was amazing in that amazing is too small of a word for me to describe it, one has to live it, again on their own time on plan, but there are many many changes we zc people experience that shows us others have walked and felt thru their journey, so that means the people on that journey are experiencing good changes, with more better to come.

one must be in the zc community and read results of others and personal changes as they hit them and that gives us a true path to what /zc zen’ is all about. won’t ever be the same for each of us, but thru experiences shared and feeling shared, many who got much improvement can see the walk others are taking thru their experiences also…so…just a chat on what it takes for each of us dedicated to this WOE.

can’t wait to hear an update from Carnipaws

@Fangs

Me too. And I hope it doesn’t take me 3 years!! The last 10 have been bad enough, so I hope that it doesn’t take so long.
