Do the 1 cup measurements of beans mean cooked or uncooked? 1 cup uncooked ends up 2.5-4 cups cooked and I don’t wanna overshoot on carbs despite not being super strict.
Measuring Beans
The bean counters tell me to measure cooked beans.
Unless you like the campfire scene from Blazing Saddles.
I think you mean dry vs hydrated not cooked vs uncooked.
Most recipes use hydrated, some don’t. Search specifically for dry beans if you’re looking for that.
Less concerned with recipes and more with a site saying “1 cup of X beans has Y grams of carbs.” Found it on USDA
Your best bet to be 100% sure will be to google goya dry beans. Then look at a photo of the actual product’s nutrition info. Can’t go wrong that way.
Beans, beans the magical fruit!
Was never a big bean eater, so at least this is one thing I never drool about missing. I dont really drool about any food; I just drool naturally.
I had nothing useful to add to this thread, I just like replying randomly, sometimes.
