Just re-reading Ancel Keyes and then Richard’s take that the maximum amount of calorie per pound of body fat is 31 kcal per day got me to wondering “Is there a maximum fat storage amount per day?” based on say the standard 2000 calorie SAD? The reason I was thinking this is many of us rebound in an upward trend in weight after fasts or stalls and get panicky. Just as the maximum amount of fat that could be used was helpful to my emotional state, I wondered if there was a corollary weight gain threshold, so we could reassure ourselves _only this much could possibly be fat, the rest must be water, food or waste _____
I did a little search query found nothing. Looked into EBSCHO host, nothing that I found. Does any one have an idea?
