Marathon Training Help

I am almost through week 2 and have a marathon in 3 weeks. Poor timing on my part, I know. I have had some okay training days and some terrible ones. This coming Sunday my training run is 18 and the following Sunday is 20. If I take a Honey Stinger or GU during my training runs to help me get through them, will it completely ruin my progress so far? I appreciate any help/advice to get through these runs. I’ve been using MIO with electrolyte and B vitamins and just ordered the supplies for the Ketoade.
